Mrs. K, November 15

Hello Class,

As you can tell, I am not in school again today.  I am at home with bronchitis that I have had since Saturday.  I am not feeling good at all.  Please watch the video below for a message from me.

Enjoy a great day.  I will see you all tomorrow!

Black and White Wednesday - Baby Bumble Bee

We have only been home for just over four months, and I am sure that this beautiful little girl is wondering about all of the interesting, strange, and wonderful things that she is encountering every day. I cannot imagine what she initially thought of dressing up and going door to door, but in the end she thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Our Baby Butterfly dressed up as a Bumble Bee, in ladybug shoes no less. She was a bit hesitant in the beginning as we started walking around the neighborhood visiting some of our neighbor's houses. However, once she realized that she was being given little "presents" at each house she visited, her excitement piqued. I still do not think that she knows what she was being given at each house, since she doesn't eat candy, but the experience was a lot of fun for us all.

Enjoy!

Black and White Wednesday

I have recently been playing with some high contrast photos, and have thoroughly enjoying the results.

We recently brought our daughter home from China, and she is such a happy baby girl. I just love her smiles and laughter, her personality just shines through the pictures I take of her. Below, is a photo I took of her tonight in the bathtub. She was playing with the bubbles and having so much fun. I have include two versions of the photo, the more sepia version and the B/W version. Personally I really like the sepia version a bit more, but I did want to include a true B/W for this post. Let me know that you think.

I hope you enjoy.

Aloha!

Week 12 - “Focusing on Angles” Photo Challenge!

I love this photo of the Ladybug. Lounging on our red chair. Being so close to her and taking the photo of her while upside down really does a lot for this photo. I hope you enjoy. If you get a chance, check out the I Heart Faces website.
